back from Taman Negara!
really enjoyed the trip alot!
this trip was like... what i've learnt for geog came "alive" for me! HAHA.


( not including breakfast/lunch/dinner.... )
day1-
cabbed to train station. coach didnt came.
taxis were streaming into our sch!
train ride was alright.
( :

day2-
reached rainforest resort!
sat the boat! ( the ride was so so great la! it was really cooling with the wind blowing onto our faces! )

stopped at,
1. a riverbed with boulders/big pebbles +fishes for us to feed.
2. casCADE ( small waterfall ) & there were so many butterflies!
3. some place where pple played with the water.

canopy walk! we walked on bridges made of wood planks stucked on top of the ladders.

at night.
went to a small exhibition & watched a video. ( many of us were super tired. )
night walk after tat. saw stick insects,flowers,glow-in-the-dark mushrooms,spiders,a huge spider web. ( the pattern of the web could be seen! )etc.

love it when everyone switched off their torches. it was really dark but i could still see the moonlight.

saw wild boars after we left the forest.

day3- MOST MEMORABLE DAY! GREAT EXPERIENCE! ;D
went to a limestone cave & we had to walk,crawl,climb,walk in water etc.
saw many BATS & a snake ( not a giangantic one. hah )

met the orang asli's after tat & got to know about their lifestyles etc.
its pretty cool to know that there are such people who lead a simple life in the 21st century.

rapid shooting after tat!
we splashed water at each other & also at others when one boat passed by another. all of us were drenched.
went thru rapids.
& played with rocks that could "produce colours" ! this can be done by rubbing a coloured stone on to another stone. everyone was 'dying' each other's hair & drawing pictures.
had a sandcastle competition too.

did reflection & had a simple satay party at night.

day4-
headed to another place.
learnt about the rubber tree,oil palm & cocoa tree.
then back to s'pore!
